The Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO heritage site since 1997, fifty kilometers of coast south of the Sorrento Peninsula, administratively falls within the province of Salerno. It can be reached by sea with the Metrò del Mare and various private lines in the ports of Amalfi, Positano, Maiori, Minori and Cetara. By car through the Amalfi State Road SS163 and with various bus lines.
