Between sea, sun and spas, we offer you a "cultural break"

In 2011 an underwater archaeological research project began which, year after year, is revealing the remains of the Roman age of Aenaria, an urban aggregate which today, due to the complex geological events of the island, lies six meters below sea level of depth. The research has brought to light, in particular, its port and the wall structures of a seaside villa. The archaeological site can be visited thanks to a boat with a transparent bottom; the excursion is introduced by the projection of a video which tells the story of the discovery and methods and technologies of an underwater archaeological excavation.
